The is documentary was created as a love letter to Dan Crawford, the innovative founder of the Kings Head Theatre, in 2004 as an enduring homage to the memory of a great spirit and hero of British theatre. It tells the story of the first 35 years of the Kings Head under Dan's visionary stewardship and includes many Kings Head supporters including Joanna Lumley, Alan Rickman, Steven Berkoff, Victoria Wood, Maureen Lipman, Sir Tom Stoppard, Sir Antony Sher, Richard E Grant & Rupert Graves.

It was presented on Sky ArtsWorld for three years.
