This documentary was created as a love letter to Dan Crawford, the innovative founder of the Kings Head Theatre in 2004. It was made as an enduring homage to the memory of a great spirit and hero of British theatre. It tells the story of the first 35 years of the Kings Head under Dan's visionary stewardship; and includes many Kings Head supporters including Joanna Lumley, Alan Rickman, Steven Berkoff, Victoria Wood, Maureen Lipman, Sir Tom Stoppard, Sir Antony Sher, Richard E Grant & Rupert Graves.

It was presented on Sky ArtsWorld for three years.
