PETER PAN

Peter Pan Schools Workshops

The aim of the Peter Pan workshops was to devise a short (20-30 minutes) version of Peter Pan with school pupils, to perform to parents/teachers and friends.

This complemented the production of Peter Pan at the King's Head and provided outreach to schools groups who may not have otherwise have had the opportunity to visit the theatre.
Education

The workshops tied in with Drama, English and Citizenship syllabuses: encouraging engagement with play texts, text in performance and in some cases, led to greater confidence in the classroom.

The primary emphasis in the workshops was on having fun. Pupils were encouraged to bring music, dance or any script ideas they had into the workshops.
